Matière 01

Wool & Alpaca

Soft · Warm · Precious

Living fibers that require gentleness. Alpaca, stronger than sheep's wool, remains delicate. Well-maintained, they retain their warmth for years.

Les bons gestes

Hand wash, cold water, wool detergent, no fabric softener.

Wring out without twisting, by pressing in a towel.

Dry flat, never hung, away from any heat source and direct sunlight.

A cold wool cycle in the machine is possible for sturdy pieces.

À éviter

Éviter

Tumble drying, hot water, and friction—they felt the fiber and cause it to lose its softness.

Matière 02

Mohair

Ethereal · Delicate · Warm

Derived from the Angora goat, mohair is prized for its fluffy appearance and lightness. A precious fiber that is sensitive to rough handling.

Les bons gestes

Hand wash in cold water, or use a very gentle wool cycle.

Handle delicately, without rubbing or twisting.

Dry flat on a towel, air dry.

Brush gently once dry to revive the down.

À éviter

Éviter

Tumble drying and machine spinning — mohair hates heat and mechanical action.

Matière 03

Silk

Fluid · Noble · Fragile

An exceptional natural fiber with a unique luster. Silk is delicate, yet it elevates the most elegant pieces in your wardrobe.

Les bons gestes

Hand wash in cold water, mild detergent, or dry clean.

Do not wring: gently press in a towel.

Dry flat or on a hanger in the shade, away from direct sunlight.

Iron at a low temperature, on the reverse side, while the silk is slightly damp.

À éviter

Éviter

Direct sunlight, hot water, and alcohol or perfume stains that mark it.

Matière 04

Cotton

Solid · Simple · Versatile

The easiest fabric to live with. Resistant and comfortable, cotton stands up to most wash cycles—but a few rules will prevent shrinkage.

Les bons gestes

Machine wash at 30-40°C to preserve colors and fibers.

Wash bright colors separately for the first few times.

Air dry preferred; gentle tumble dry possible.

Iron while still slightly damp for a neat result.

À éviter

Éviter

Water that is too hot, which can cause shrinkage and fading.

Matière 05

Flax

Fresh · Natural · Authentic

Robust and breathable, linen gets better with time. Its slight wrinkle is part of its charm—no need to strive for perfection.

Les bons gestes

Machine wash at 30°C, gentle cycle, moderate spin.

Air dry, while still slightly damp.

Iron while damp for easy smoothing, or embrace the natural wrinkles.

Also hand-washable for delicate items.

À éviter

Éviter

The spin cycle being too fast and the hot tumble dryer that break the fiber.

Matière 06

Viscose

Fluid · Flexible · Delicate

Soft and lightweight, viscose mimics the drape of silk. Please note: it becomes fragile when wet and is heat-sensitive.

Les bons gestes

Hand wash or cold delicate cycle (30°C max).

Handle with care when wet, without wringing.

Dry flat, in the shade, away from radiators.

Iron at a low temperature, on the reverse side.

À éviter

Éviter

Hot water and the tumble dryer, which shrink and deform it.

Matière 07

Synthetics

Practical · Durable · Easy

Polyester, polyamide, acrylic, elastane… Worry-free fabrics: they wash easily and dry quickly. A few simple steps are all it takes to keep them looking impeccable.

Les bons gestes

Machine wash at 30°C, normal cycle.

Turn garments inside out to preserve colors and prints.

Air dry, very quick; gentle tumble dry possible.

Little or no ironing required.

À éviter

Éviter

High temperatures, which warp fibers and lock in odors.

Everyday gestures

Simple tips to share in-store for pieces that last.

Air out before storing

A few hours of airing out after each wear are enough to eliminate odors and preserve the natural fibers.

Turn inside out before washing

Washing inside out protects colors and finishes, and reduces friction between fibers.

Fold, do not hang

Knits and sweaters should be folded: when hung, they lose their shape and the shoulders stretch out permanently.

Wash less often

Air out, brush, or spot-clean as needed rather than washing after every wear: every wash saved extends the life of the garment.
